Lanmark has extensive knowledge in transmission pipeline design and construction design implementation. Our expertise in measurement, compression, pumping, stress integrity management, and system modeling is invaluable.

Lanmark has executed numerous projects including large diameter natural gas and oil pipelines, sour gas, and two-phase pipelines, supercritical and dense phase pipelines, HVP and LVP liquid pipelines, heavy oil and SAGD surface pipelines, and high temperature steam pipelines for new builds and to optimize existing systems.

We evaluate critical design parameters with hydraulic, process, mechanical, stress, civil, and CFD tools along with capital and operational costs of ownership. Projects typically involve segment replacement, measurement, compression, or pumping. We work with our clients to develop the most economical, reliable, and constructable systems.

 
  • Natural Gas Pipelines

    Engineering & design for pipelines up to 42” OD, route selection, crossing design, HDD’s, material selection, muskeg/ buoyancy control, geo-technical surveys, slope stability/ erosion, and permafrost pipelines.

  • Liquid Hydrocarbon Pipelines

    Engineering & design for pipelines up to 42” OD, route selection, material selection, detailed design, crossing design, HDD’s for crude oil pipelines with batch capabilities, hot bitumen pipelines (above & below ground), and HVP & LVP pipelines.

  • Measurement

    Engineering & design for measurement projects involving various meter types including differential pressure, turbine, ultrasonic, coriolis, and positive displacement. Design to CSA & ASME codes while incorporating the requirements of the National Conference of Weights and Measures (NCWM) & Measurement Canada.

  • Integrity

    Engineering & design for integrity projects including ILI projects (operation and capital infrastructure - Launchers & Receivers), Integrity section replacements, valve replacements, muskeg/buoyancy control, stability/erosion improvement projects, pipe and pipe Integrity assessments including bend wall thickness calculations, pipeline on-bottom stability calculations, virtual anchor length calculations, and pipeline global buckling analysis.
